Catching Up...Noah's First Birthday!

Now that Noah is almost 14 months old, I guess I should put up pics from his birthday!! We had such a fun day...filled with going to our favorite breakfast spot, Meldogs, in the morning. Noah had a huge pancake, peaches, and scrambled eggs. Then we put him down for a nap and by the time he got up, everyone was arriving for the party! We set up a little pool and sprinklers, Noah had so much fun!! He ate a cheeseburger and a very special fruit salad made by Grandma Eileen filled with all of his favorite berries. :-) Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make this such a special day.

I still can't believe a year has gone by...Noah has been the biggest blessing we could have ever imagined, he fills each day with joy! He is still not walking, although he crawls faster than I walk at times, and climbs on everything! He is a really good eater, and eats almost everything (besides honey and peanut butter) that I put in front of him. He is finally sleeping through the night (YAY!) :-) And his one year stats were:

30.5 inches (~75th%)
20 lb, 15 oz (~50th%)

(birth was 20.5 in; 7 lb, 8oz)

Eyeing some pancakes and peaches at breakfast...still waking up.

This kid loves to eat!...

...and show off and share his food. :-)

Noah eating peaches...:-)

Best family portrait we could get before the party.

Noah with his buddies Chloe and Jackson in the pool...he loved it!

Happy kid swimming in the baby pool for the first time.

Jackson playing in the grubworm sprinklers.

Noah thought this was a hit!

Climbing in and out of the pool...trying to keep him from eating the bark!

Best one we could get of him eating lunch...he couldn't shovel in the cheeseburger fast enough! :-)

Noah's cake made by Mommy: chocolate cake and frosting, filled with homemade raspberry puree and topped with his favorite, blueberries and boysenberries!

And the other cake for everyone else! :-)

"I'm ready!"

First taste...going in for the berries! Surprise, surprise :-) This was the first taste of chocolate or sweets he has ever had!

The after shot, not liking the hat too much :-)

And now for cleanup, back in the pool!
