Noah Is 4 Months Old!!!! (+ 2 days...)

It is hard to believe our little guy is 4 months old, the newborn that came into our world is gone, and we officially have a "little boy". It's been amazing to watch him develop over the last 4 months. His personality cracks us up...he loves to laugh, play in his bouncy, rollover, and suck his toes. It's also crazy that he will be starting to eat "real" food here pretty soon...time to break out the high chair!

We've also started to have reading time before Noah's naps (I don't know why it took me so long to do this...), and he is really loving it. We've been reading his rhyme Bible and we've also read "Is Your Mama a Llama?"

I just went back to work about 2 weeks ago. I'm working 2 nights a week as an RN at Shriner's (7pm-7am). I think it's working out really well so far. I think it will be just enough to feel like I still have that part of my life as a nurse...but not too much to still feel like I am a stay at home mom with Noah, which I love. The nights I'm gone he sleeps most of the time, and gets some good quality time with Daddy before bedtime. When I get home, my mom watches him for a couple hours while I sleep. It's working out great so far!

Here are some pictures and video of Noah on his 4 month birthday:

Happy Noah in his bouncy that we're borrowing from our good friends Hannah, Isaac, and Chloe - thank you guys again, he loves it!! :-)

"I see the frog, I'm gonna get it!"

Later that night while I was at work, Andy snapped a cute picture of Kona and Noah playing before bedtime.

We were very lucky last week we got to go to a San Francisco Giants baseball game with Andy's family. It was Noah's first game and he got a little certificate and everything. We got to sit in the AT&T box seats (really nice!), with a guy through Andy's work.

"Go Giants!"

Noah and Daddy with a really great view of the field from our seats.

Family photo, taking a walk by the San Francisco bay before the game started.

Very short, but a cute one of Noah playing with his toes.

Yosemite - Noah's First Camping Trip

We had a great time last weekend meeting my brother and mom at the end of the John Muir Trail. They were gone for about a month in the wilderness for a total of 240 miles. We decided to meet them in Yosemite Valley on my mom's 50th bday and stay there camping for the weekend. Noah did a great job on his first camping trip and found his feet while we were there! Since then, they are constantly in his mouth, his new favorite toy! Enjoy the pics. :-)

Noah in the car with his toy bug, ready to hit the road!

Andy and I stopping for our classic "pre-trip" pose.

Noah asleep about 20 minutes into the drive, what a good boy!

Noah and Mommy getting ready to hit the trail to meet Grandma and Uncle Brent!

Great Grandma and Grandpa Gruner on the John Muir Trail.

Andy, Noah and I stopping for a pose.

First time seeing Grandma in a month!!

"Look how big I've gotten Grandma!!"

Brent and my mom posing by the mileage.

Brent back at camp serenading us with his ukelele.

Noah wakes up very happy, especially when he's on Mommy and Daddy's big air matress.

Noah very happy playing in his bouncy.

Noah playing with his feet.

Noah also has learned how to roll over...here he is rolling about halfway.

Noah's new hairdo!

Brent showing off his one shirt that he wore on the trail...a deer ate part of it one night.

Time to throw it away...

The fires got pretty bad in Yosemite while we were there...here is a really good picture of all the smoke...luckily the smoke wasn't too bad in the valley where we were staying.

Family photo.

Posing by the teepee.

Noah playing with his feet again on the air mattress.

"Hi Mommy!"

I was very proud of that beautiful burger. :-)

More playtime!

A group of girls walked through the campground and wanted to come say hi to Noah!

And that's how we left him. :-) He's kinda strong...
