BIG SUR HALF MARATHON
Andy and I accomplished our goal of finishing the Big Sur Half Marathon, held in Monterey on November 15th (Noah's 6 month birthday). It was one of the hardest things physically I've probably ever done, especially the last couple of miles. It came close in difficulty to some of the backpacking Andy and I have done in Yosemite. But, it was one of the most rewarding things to finish, a great feeling of accomplishment! And I must say Andy was not as excited to do this as I was, but somehow he transformed once we started and was such a great source of encouragement and support for me...he filled my water a couple times, and just encouraged me the whole way! My Mom and Greg came down with us for the weekend and watched Noah while we ran. They took the following pictures, so there are pictures of us at the beginning and then some approaching the finish.

A great ending to an awesome weekend!HAPPY BELATED THANKSGIVING!!
We went down to San Francisco this year for Thanksgiving to Andy's Aunt Jane's house. We drove down Thanksgiving morning and left the day after. We had a great time hanging out with Andy's family!
